Passport and Visa Information
Every foreign national require a valid passport and visa to enter India. Visa has to made before arrival at the airport, there is no provision of Visa on Arrival and no fee is charged for immigration facilities at the airports. National of Bhutan, Nepal and Maldives do not require visa to enter India, for the period up to 90 days. The Consular Passport and Visa (CPV) Division of the ministry of External Affairs is responsible for issuance of Indian visas to the foreign nationals for their visit for various purposes. The facility is alloted through embassies abroad. We provide all kind if passport information and visa information. The 8 principal types of visa issued, are as follows :Tourist Visa
Validation - Six months.
Requirements - Produce proof of his or her financial status. For collective tourist visa not less then four members with a recognized travel agency can be permitted.
Norms and regulations - Non extensible and non- convertible
Business Visa
Validation - One or more years
Requirements - Letter of authorization from the present employer suggesting the work profile, duration of stay, purpose and other miscellaneous informations.
Student Visa
Validation - Maximum for five years.
Requirements - Proof of admission to recognized school, colleges , university or any other institution.
Transit Visa
Validation - Can be extended for maximum period of 15-days.
Norms and regulations - Cannot obtained from immigration counters at interfaces of entry in India. Transit Visas are non-extendible in India.
Visa to Missionaries
Validation - Duration and number of entries depends on the permission granted by Government of India.
Norms and regulationsLetter in three copies from sponsoring organization to support the nature of work and purpose along with duly signed guarantee for applicant's sustainment while staying India.
Journalist Visa
Eligibility - Only professional journalist and photographers.
Norms and regulations - Journalists are directed to report to External Publicity Division of the Ministry of External Affairs. In addition to that they also have to report to the Office of the Government of India's Press Information Bureaus in other places.
Conference Visa
Norms and regulations - Issued for attending conferences, seminars and meetings in India.
Requirements - A letter of invitation from the organizers is required.
Additional gain - Representative may merge their business meetings/seminars/conferences with tourism.
Employment Visa
Requirements - Cogent evidence of employment/engagement of foreign nationals by the organization in India.
